We are very excited to offer this gorgeous 1969 Camaro Z28 Sport Coupe! It was built new in Norwood, OH the 1st week of January 1969 with X11 trim tag designation. Finished in code correct Daytona Yellow (76 76) with Black stripes and Black vinyl interior (711)! Options include CMC-code 350ci V8, Muncie wide-ratio 4-speed transmission (M20) with Hurst shifter, ZL2 cowl induction hood, D80 front & rear spoilers, 15×7” rally wheels wrapped in new BF Goodrich Radial T/A tries, 12-bolt Posi-traction rear axle with 3.73 gearing, console with gauge package & in-dash tachometer, large rear bumper guards, front bumper guards, power front disc brakes, AM/FM/Cassette radio, day/night rearview mirror, bright pedal trim, door edge guards, all Soft-Ray glass, and complete Rally Sport Equipment Group to include vacuum-powered headlamps covers, simulated rear quarter grills, wheel well lip moldings; RS emblems featured on steering wheel, & rear tail panel; Rally Sport fender nameplates, black body sills, back-up lights below rear bumper, bright accented taillights, and roof rail drip moldings.
It maintains the proper special suspension with staggered rear shocks (new Edelbrock Performer IAS monotube installed) and 4-leaf rear springs along with 1.25” front sway bar, heavy duty 21” radiator, Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake & finned valve covers, Holley carburetor, “double hump” heads, GM hoses/tubes/clamps, with Hooker stainless steel long tube headers, Accel HEI ignition, Lakewood scatter shield, and more!
This vehicle is being represented as a stunning tribute not easily found on today’s market, particularly at this price. The fact that this car has been through a recent ground up restoration to include an exterior restoration with a glass-out base coat/ clear coat paint finish, all fresh weather stripping throughout, all new interior, all new wiring, brake system with soft & hard lines, all new fuel system from the gas tank forward, fresh body mounts, new suspension with polyurethane bushings, and so much more! The black stripes are now buried under several layers of clear for a very smooth feel to the touch!
Inside, outside, and underneath, this very impressive Z28 tribute shows very well! It has zero structural concerns with solid frame, floors, and trunk pan. The panel gaps and fitment are excellent! We encourage anyone interested to see this car in person. Please free to call with any additional questions, request additional photos, or to schedule a private viewing appointment.
